Yoga Mala Shala

Yoga Mala Shala is a supervised self-practice yoga studio where class is conducted in a group setting. We offer the teachings of Pattabhi Jois, a major 20th century Yogi who fostered a global revival of the vinyasa method of Ashtanga Yoga. Postures in Ashtanga Yoga are learned one-by-one and practiced at a pace measured by one’s own breath-rhythm. Working at the appropriate level, students receive individual instruction, guidance, and adjustments, collaborating with the teacher to create a solid foundation for a fulfilling yoga practice.
